About the Residency

“Fresh Air” Art Residency will be implemented in Debed village, Lori Province, Republic of Armenia, at Debatun Guesthouse, with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia.


The program is organized and co-funded by Debatun LLC, and supported by the NGO “Seeds of Growth.”


Program Goal
The aim of the program is to create a comfortable environment where photographers will have the opportunity to develop and implement creative projects, explore and discover Armenian culture, exchange professional knowledge, and expand intercultural connections.

«Թարմ օդ» Արտ-Ռեզիդենսի ծրագիրը կիրականացվի ՀՀ Լոռու մարզի Դեբեդ գյուղում, «Դեբատուն» հյուրատան՝ ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարության ֆինանսական աջակցությամբ։


Ծրագրի կազմակերպիչն ու համաֆինանսավորողն է «Դեբատուն» ՍՊԸ-ն և նախագծի աջակիցն է «Զարգացման սերմեր» ՀԿ-ն:


Ծրագրի նպատակն է ստեղծել հարմարավետ միջավայր, որտեղ լուսանկարիչները հնարավորություն կունենան մշակել և իրականացնել ստեղծագործական նախագծեր, ուսումնասիրել ու բացահայտել հայկական մշակույթը, փոխանակվել մասնագիտական գիտելիքներով և ընդլայնել միջմշակութային կապերը:

Terms & Conditions / Պայմաններ և Դրույթներ

  • Duration of the Art Residency: 10 days
  • Participants must take part in all stages of the program, including community meetings and the final exhibition.
  • Each participant will create photographic works during the residency, focusing on Armenia’s cultural monuments and landscapes.
  • The best works will be presented at the final exhibition.
  • Participation in the final exhibition/presentation is mandatory.

Participants are required to publish on their social media pages about the residency days, tours, and creative process at least:

  • 2 stories
  • 1 informational text post
  • 2 short videos (Reels)

Using the following hashtags:

And tagging the location and pages:
@debedLori @Armenia @DebedVillage, as well as the visited historical and cultural sites.

Selection Process

✔️ 8 international and 2 Armenian photographers will be selected to participate in the program.

✔️ The selection will be carried out by the organizing team based on submitted applications.

📅 Applications accepted: February 22 to March 15, 2026

👉 Selection Results: March 20, 2026

📍 Residency Dates: April 15 to April 25, 2026 (after the selection process)

✉️ Selected participants will be notified via personal email.

  • Արտ-Ռեզիդենսի տևողությունը՝ 10 օր
  • Մասնակիցները պետք է մասնակցեն ծրագրի բոլոր փուլերին, համայնքային հանդիպումներին և եզրափակիչ ցուցահանդեսին:
  • Յուրաքանչյուր մասնակից ռեզիդենսի ընթացքում կստեղծի լուսանկարներ՝ դիտակետում ունենալով Հայաստանի մշակութային կոթողներն ու բնապատկերները
  • Աշխատանքներից լավագույնները կներկայացվեն եզրափակիչ ցուցահանդեսում։
  • Ծրագրի ավարտին պարտադիր է մասնակցությունը եզրափակիչ ցուցահանդեսին / ներկայացմանը

Իրենց սոցիալական էջերում պետք է հրապարակեն ռեզիդենսի օրերի, շրջայցերի և ստեղծագործական գործընթացի մասին առնվազն՝

  • 2 պատմություն (story)
  • 1 տեքստային տեղեկատվական հրապարակում
  • 2 կարճ հոլովակ (Reel)

Ընտրության Գործընթաց

✔️ Ծրագրին մասնակցելու համար ընտրվելու է 8 օտարերկրյա և 2 հայաստանցի լուսանկարիչներ

✔️ Ընտրությունը կկատարվի կազմակերպչական թիմի կողմից՝ դիմումների հիման վրա։

📅 Հայտերն ընդունվում են՝ Փետրվարի 22-ից մարտի 15-ը, 2026 թ․

👉 Արտ-Ռեզիդենսի արդյունքները՝ Մարտի 20-ին, 2026 թ.

📍 Արտ- ռեզիդենսի անցկացման ժամկետը՝ Ապրիլի 15-25-ը, 2026 թ․ (դիմումների ընտրությունից հետո)։

✉️ Ընտրության արդյունքները՝ ընտրված մասնակիցները կտեղեկացվեն անձնական նամակով՝ էլ․ փոստի միջոցով։

Who is eligible to apply for the residency?
🌿 The program is open to photography students and young photographers with beginner to intermediate experience.
Which countries are eligible to participate?
Photographers from all around the world are eligible to apply.
What expenses are covered by the participant?
🔻 The application is free of charge.
✈️ Participants are responsible only for their travel expenses to Armenia.
🏡 Accommodation, meals, local transportation, and all program activities are fully covered and free of charge for selected participants.
How will transportation from the capital to the region be organized?
Local transportation within Armenia (including from the capital to the region) is fully covered and organized by the residency for selected participants.
What obligations does the applicant have?
Applicants are obliged to take part in all program stages, create photographic works, and adhere to the social media publication requirements listed in the "Terms & Conditions" section above.
What type of visa is required to enter Armenia?

Ովքե՞ր կարող են դիմել ռեզիդենսիային մասնակցելու համար։
🌿 Ծրագրին կարող են դիմել ուսանող և երիտասարդ լուսանկարիչներ՝ սկսնակ և միջին փորձառությամբ։
Ո՞ր երկրներից կարող են մասնակցել։
Ծրագիրը բաց է դիմորդների համար աշխարհի բոլոր ծայրերից։
Ի՞նչ ծախսեր է կրում մասնակիցը։
🔻 Հայտը լրացնելը անվճար է։
✈️ Մասնակիցները վճարում են միայն իրենց ճանապարհածախսը դեպի Հայաստան։
🏡 Կեցությունը, սնունդը, Հայաստանի ներսում տեղափոխությունը և ծրագրային միջոցառումները ամբողջությամբ անվճար են ընտրված մասնակիցների համար։
Ինչպե՞ս է կազմակերպվելու մայրաքաղաքից մարզ տեղափոխությունը։
Հայաստանի ներսում տեղափոխությունը (այդ թվում՝ մայրաքաղաքից մարզ) ամբողջությամբ անվճար է և կազմակերպվում է ծրագրի կողմից ընտրված մասնակիցների համար։
Ի՞նչ պարտավորություններ ունի հայտատուն։
Հայտատուները պարտավորվում են մասնակցել ծրագրի բոլոր փուլերին, ստեղծել լուսանկարչական աշխատանքներ և կատարել սոցիալական էջերի հրապարակումներ՝ ինչպես նշված է վերևի «Պայմաններ և Դրույթներ» բաժնում։
